Saving a referral - SystmOne

Saving referral as 'Final Version' vs 'Draft' in SystmOne

• When you click the option to save a referral as a 'Final version' this action will make the document un-editable within SystmOne once saved. 

• Saving the referral as 'Draft' will allow you to make edits to the document once saved into SystmOne - please note that with this option there is an extra step to complete before sending the referral off via e-RS (please see instructions below)

1. Open SystmOne and find the relevant referral under the relevant patient records.
2. Once the necessary edits have been made and this is ready to send off  via e-RS, right click on the referral form and click the button 'Letter sent'. You will now be able to send this referral off through e-RS.
