Can I filter the Practice Dashboard to see only the patients I added?

How to see cancer referrals, FIT tests or other investigations you personally safety-netted to the Practice Dashboard. Also track patients you referred through C the Signs who were found to have cancer.


Step 1

  • Open the Dashboard (second button on the C the Signs toolbar)

  • Decide which set of patients you would like to see. 
    - The 'Active' board holds a list of patients with outstanding referrals, FIT tests or other investigations.
    - The 'Cancer Confirmed' board holds a list of patients who have had a cancer diagnosed.
    - The 'Archived' board holds a list of patients where cancer was not found. 

Step 2

  • Once you have opened the board with the set of patients you wish to filter, click on 'Filter' in the top left of the screen.
  • A set of filters will appear. Click on the 'Referrers' option and select your name from the drop-down list.

  • You will now only see patients you personally added to this board.

Why are there multiple names on the Practice Dashboard for the same referrer?

  • When you add a patient manually to the Practice Dashboard, the name of the 'Referrer' must be selected as part of this. 
  • If the referrers name is not selected from the existing drop-down menu, but is entered manually, another name may be added to the options.
  • This can mean the same person appears on the 'Referrers' list more than once. The difference can be very subtle, e.g. Dr. James Bond vs Dr J Bond (without the full stop or spelt out first name).
