# How do I pull through FIT results into the FIT View?

When the system updates, it will search for the FIT test result code for any patients on the dashboard. The way results are pulled depends on your electronic medical record system:

- EMIS:  The update happens automatically overnight.
- SystmOne: You need to use the ‘Update’ button. You can either update all patients, update just FIT results, or update individual patients.

To pull results, the patient must be on the Active tab of the Practice Dashboard. This happens automatically if the FIT is selected through a Risk Assessment.
