    What is the Practice Data tab?

    Viewing the practice data tab on the C the Signs dashboard allows you to:

    • View live cancer and performance data for your practice and your PCN
    • View the registered users of C the Signs at a practice and PCN level
    • View numbers of urgent suspected cancer referrals and investigations requested at a practice and PCN level. 
    • Public Health England Fingertips data on your practice's cancer detection and conversion rates benchmarked against your ICB 
    • Save any reflections on cancer performance at a practice or PCN level.

    How do I access the Practice Data tab?

    Step 1: Open the C the Signs Dashboard

    Select the second button on the C the Signs toolbar

    Step 2: Select the Practice Data Tab

    Select the Practice Data tab as shown below

    This will allow you to view all of your cancer data for your practice or PCN


    What Cancer Data can I View?

      • C the Signs Live Data and Registered users

    The C the Signs live data can be used to track you cancer summary statistics for your practice, other practices in your PCN and a PCN total and average.

    You are also able to view who in your practice or PCN is using C the Signs. 

      • Number of Cancer Referrals and Investigations

    This allows you to review and and audit referrals to different cancer pathways as well as review your requests for cancer investigations. You can adjust this data based on a specified date range, as mentioned above.

    You can hover over each bar to find out how many cancers have been diagnosed through each pathway.

    This information is useful for reviewing and improving your cancer referral pathways as mentioned in the PCN DES

      You can select the blue banner titled 'All referrals and investigations ' and this will display the full list of cancer referrals and investigations requested in your practice or PCN

        • Public Health England Fingertips Data

      This data highlights your practice cancer detection and cancer conversion rates for your practice and this is benchmarked with your local PCN, ICB and the England average. This data can be used as a guide on cancer performance for your practice.

      Hovering over the 🛈 symbol gives you a definition of each of the rates and the blue banner below the table gives further detail on how to improve your practice's cancer performance. Reviewing and using this data forms part of the PCN DES for cancer 2024/2025.

        • Reflection & Actions

      Lastly there is area to record any cancer discussions and reflections at both a practice and PCN level.
